Harshaw Chapel Mowing Crew: June 11 and June 25, 8 a.m.
Taize Service! Thursday, June 11, 6 p.m. at Harshaw Chapel. Taizé is a contemplative service with songs, silence and short readings. Inspired by worship at the Taizé community in Burgundy, France, it is a prayerful service with a spaciousness that invites rest and reflection, a time for heart and soul to connect with God. The service is an inviting place for people of various faith traditions, and for those who simply want a quiet space to press the pause button on the noise of life. Taize worship is planned for the second Thursday of each month going forward. Youth: Lake Day at the Smiths’ home on Lake Hiawassee, Sunday, June 14.
Roots 345, a program specifically designed for children in grades three, four, and five, meets once monthly on Sunday evenings from 4 – 6 p.m. During this time, kids engage in spiritual formation activities and fun fellowship with their friends. Dinner is provided.
